SKOC is an installation about traffic in Istanbul. It was prepared for Amber Festival 2010 – for the theme “datacity”. It is comprised of six CRT displays tiled on top of each other and uses live sensor data of municipality’s traffic map, along with Twitter streams. The concept is to create an observation space – a control panel – to monitor urban congestion, not only physical ones -ie traffic – but its effects towards urban life as well. The work shows multiple visualizations that can be read singularly or relatively.

Hit me! is a 3d platform game developed fully on C++ and openGL in collaboration with Merve Çaylı, in which opponents control little balls to throw each other out of the platform. To juice up the game play, various bonus objects appear on the platform – i.e. making the ball very heavy which makes it difficult to control but also invulnerable to hits.
